Why we need your help?

Angola is the third country in the world with least access to potable water, despite being one of the African countries with more hydric resources.

In the surroundings of the Hospital of Vouga, in the province of Bié, the population is suffering from many gastrointestinal diseases associated to the abscense of basic hygene measures and to the lack of potable water, being some of them associated with high mortality rates.

To improve this dramatic situation, we need your help. We would like to obtain the funds necessary to install a potable water treatment plant in the Hospital of Vouga which would produce the enough amount of potable water necessary for care at the hospital and for rural populations on the surroundings. This project will benefit nearly 2000 people, contributing to improve the population´s quality of life and to save lives.
